Your own Word template
Reports come back in your firm’s own template, with your headings, layout and branding.
Your phrase library
We keep your standard paragraphs on file. Refer to them by number or name as you dictate.
Photos in place
Say “photo 3 here” and that’s where it goes. Photos we can’t place are listed for you.
Other secretarial work

Step by step
How a report comes together
Record your dictation
Use your usual digital recorder or phone app. An hour-long dictation is no problem.
Upload it with your photos
Log in to your client area and upload the audio and photos. We accept DSS, DS2, MP3, MP4 and WMA files.
We type it into your template
Your report is typed using your phrases, with the photos inserted, then checked by an experienced typist.
You check it and receive it
We email you when it’s ready, usually by the next working day. Download the Word document and send it on.
Turnaround
When will my report be back?
Reports are ready to check the next working day. Pick a day to see when yours would be ready.
Upload on Monday and your report is ready to check by the end of Tuesday.

How quickly will I get my report?
Usually by the next working day. If you need one sooner, just let us know.
How much does it cost?
We charge by the minute of dictation, with a simple flat charge for photos. Get in touch and we’ll send you a quote.
What audio files can I send?
DSS, DS2, MP3, MP4 and WMA. Encrypted DS2 files are fine too, as long as you tell us the password.
Is my data safe?
Your files are private, stored in the UK or EU and never shared by public link. Audio and photos are deleted after your report is released.
Where are you based?
We work remotely with surveyors across the whole of the UK.
How long have you been doing this?
We have provided professional secretarial support since 1989, including survey reports for building surveyors.
